Based in Tokyo, Rosier brings impressive credentials to his new role, having held sales leadership and operational management positions with leading financial information services during his 18-year career.

For the past five years, Rosier has served as regional sales director for Dow Jones, where he directed a staff of ten to sell the company’s products to the financial community, corporations, and government agencies. Rosier implemented strategies that resulted in triple digit growth in the competitive Japanese market.

Previously, Rosier headed up corporate sales for Bloomberg LP in Japan, targeting corporations, trading houses, and global financial institutions.

Conversant in five languages – Japanese, French, English, Mandarin and German – Rosier is enthusiastic in tackling his new role, recognizing the region’s enormous potential.

“Pascal’s impressive background featuring significant operating experience in the news industry and the Asia Pacific region make him uniquely suited for this important role,” said Geff Scott, Business Wire’s chief executive officer. “The addition of Pascal to the Business Wire team reiterates our commitment to high levels of customer service and growth in the region,” added Scott.

“I’m excited to join Business Wire at such a fascinating time,” Rosier said. “With its diversity, its energy and creativity, its enthusiasm and openness, Asia keeps growing at a formidable pace and offers an abundance of opportunities for businesses to emerge and grow. Business Wire is uniquely positioned to help companies make the most of this dynamic ecosystem,” said Rosier.

Rosier will report to Stuart Dean, vice president of sales, who made today’s announcement.
